How much does a PC clean cost?

Accepted Answer

A Quick Clean starts at $60 — a full external and internal dust blowout with a fan and filter clean. A Full Service (most popular) is $120 and includes a complete teardown, deep clean, fresh thermal paste on CPU and GPU, cable management, fan tuning and a before/after photo report. Custom quotes are always free.

How long does a service take?

Most jobs are back in your hands within 24–48 hours. Quick cleans can often be done the same day. If it's a tricky diagnostic or a custom build I'll give you a realistic timeline up front — no surprises.

Question 3

Do I have to drop my PC off, or do you come to me?

Accepted Answer

Both options are available. You're welcome to drop it off in Minlaton, or I'll pick up and drop off anywhere on the Yorke Peninsula. No extra fuss, no fuel surcharge games — just let me know your town when you book.

Question 4

What towns on the Yorke Peninsula do you cover?

The whole peninsula — from Ardrossan to Marion Bay, Wallaroo and Kadina down to Edithburgh and everything in between. If you're on the YP, I'll come to you.

Question 5

My PC is pretty old — is it even worth cleaning?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes. A solid clean and fresh thermal paste can knock 10–20°C off temperatures and add years of life to an older machine. If I think it's genuinely not worth spending money on, I'll tell you straight — that's the 'no fix, no fee' promise.

Will cleaning my PC void the warranty?

Accepted Answer

External cleaning and filter work won't affect any warranty. Internal teardowns or repastes can affect warranty on a small number of laptops and pre-built systems — if yours is still under warranty I'll check before opening anything and let you decide.

Do you service laptops as well as desktops?

Accepted Answer

Yep. Laptop deep cleans and repastes start at $80. Most makes and models welcome — gaming laptops, work laptops, ultrabooks. They cook themselves faster than desktops do, so a clean every 1–2 years makes a huge difference.

Can you build me a new PC or upgrade my current one?

Absolutely. RAM, SSD, GPU swaps, full custom builds — all quoted with honest advice and no upselling. I'll help you spend the right amount for what you actually want to do with it.

What if my PC won't even turn on?

That's exactly what the Diagnostics & Repair service is for. The quote is free — I'll figure out what's wrong and tell you whether it's a quick fix, a parts job, or genuinely not worth saving. If I can't fix it, you don't pay.
